Renee_drawingEmail.jpgThe Renee Smooch80 viewsI enjoy portraits and the way to make them not boring is to have them be fun and full of character, so the Smoochie was born.... and it is even more fun to do my artist and musician friends. All the Smoochies are 14 x 17 mostly color pencils and a little ink.Apr 25, 2015

I wish I could have been there when she died;
and had the chance to say a last goodbye;
to hold again her soft frail hand
and have one more sweet kiss from Nana.

another_thing_I_don_t_like_about_smoking_email_PS.jpgAnother thing I don't like about Smoking466 viewsThe third drawing inspired by the You Are What You Eat show, and an artist friend who's been painting a lot of pastries lately, this drawing full of delicious sweets has a cigarette snuffed out on the edge of the plate. The combination of this sad and disgusting habit, along with the treats is commentary on disrespect for what one has in the midst of plenty. Original drawing:ask if availableJan 31, 2015

Aguillard_Eat_the_Rich_7.jpgEat the Rich84 viewsAnother inspired work from the show You Are What You Eat, this homage to Jonathan Swifts satire regarding eating the poor (Irish Children) I've turned to eating the rich. What more need be said?
Pencil and ink on paper.

Aguillard_10_5_by_8.jpgPutting it off just makes it worse87 viewspencil and ink on paper, originally inspired by a show titled You Are What You Eat. This drawing has elements of self destruction, pressure to conform and a sad view of eventuality. I also thought it was funny in it's weird way. 10.5 inches x 8 inches.Jan 31, 2015

Lost_Muse_talking_to_group_email.jpgLost Muse performance art January 201579 viewsOne Sunday, after waking in tears over humanity's demise
in the 6th extinction, I made this cardboard sign, which read:
Artist-Lost My Muse, Anything Might Help.
On the back of the sign it read: Performance Art.
I told people not to be afraid, and asked them
what they liked about Art. Many people engaged with me happily
and some quite thoughtfully, and some ran away.
My Muse returned. Not sure it is ever gone.
